# Agero Roadside Assistance: Who It Works For and What It Does

> Agero runs roadside help for car makers and insurers under their names. What its terms say about texts, location data, overages, tow pay and who owns it.

## The short version

- Agero, Inc. answers and dispatches roadside help for other companies, usually under their names. Its privacy notice says “The majority of our Services are provided on behalf of our corporate clients,” such as car makers and insurers; its tow-provider terms add fleet, credit card and service contract companies.
- Your plan decides what is covered, not Agero. Agero tells State Farm agents the most common reason a policyholder pays is a tow destination beyond the policy’s limit.
- A genuine Agero text follows a request for service: its Terms list texts to locate you, report status and send a survey. Agero publishes no guide to fake roadside texts; its only fraud page is about fake job offers.
- Asking for service counts as consent to precise location tracking, the Privacy Policy says. Calls are recorded, and the towed car’s movement and your text messages are among the data collected.
- Sid Wolk founded the business as Cross Country Motor Club in 1972. Agero calls itself “a member company of The Cross Country Group” under “Wolk family ownership,” and bought Urgent.ly Inc. for $5.50 a share in a merger completed April 28, 2026.
- Tow operators are independent contractors with 60 days to invoice and 30 to dispute. They may not charge drivers without Agero’s authorization, and Agero can decide who caused damage and deduct the cost.

Agero is the company behind much of the roadside assistance that car makers, insurers and warranty plans sell under their own names. When you call the number on your insurance card or tap “roadside” in a car maker’s app, Agero may be the one that answers, sends a tow truck and texts you its arrival time, which is why its name can turn up on a text or invoice you did not expect. On 17 October 2026 we read Agero’s [Terms of Service](https://www.agero.com/terms-service) (effective January 1, 2026), [Privacy & Cookies Policy](https://www.agero.com/privacy-cookies-policy) and [Supplemental Privacy Notice](https://www.agero.com/supplemental-privacy-notice), its product, provider and help pages, its tow-provider terms effective July 7, 2025, a Cross Country Motor Club guide, the SEC filings on its purchase of Urgent.ly Inc. and one court order. This site has no commercial relationship with Agero or any roadside, warranty or insurance company. We give no phone numbers: the right one is printed on your own plan’s card, app or booklet.

Seven things a driver can see when Agero handles a roadside request for a car maker, insurer or warranty plan, each answered from Agero's Terms of Service, help-center pages, provider terms or Lyft ride terms read on 17 October 2026: the location text, the tracking text, the Lyft offer, a not-covered answer, a card hold, a request for cash, and the survey.

Read from agero.com, blog.agero.com and info.agero.com on 17 October 2026. Your plan's own terms decide what is covered.

## What Agero is, and why its name turns up

Agero calls itself “the leading white-label provider of digital driver assistance services and software for major automotive and auto insurance brands.” White label means the service carries the client’s brand. Its About page lists “white-label roadside assistance, accident management, consumer affairs, and digital dispatch solutions.” Most drivers who meet Agero never chose it; their car maker, insurer or warranty company did.

The tow operator knows the name even when you do not: “Every call we dispatch to a Service Provider is dispatched as an Agero call.” Dispatch runs on Swoop, software Agero bought in 2018. The Terms list the group’s companies, including Cross Country Motor Club, Inc., Cross Country Motor Club of California, Inc., Agero Administrative Service Corp. (which signs with tow companies), Road America Motor Club and SwoopMe, Inc. A text, receipt or card naming one of them comes from Agero’s group.

Agero’s About page claims “150 Million drivers served each year,” “8,000+ contracted preferred Service Providers” and “more than 14 million annual events,” about 38,000 a day by our arithmetic. Its pages do not agree on these figures (see [the last section](#records)). It also sells to drivers directly through [Cross Country Motor Club](#ccmc), and when recruiting tow companies it calls itself a motor club: “No other motor club gives you as much insight into your business as Agero.”

## Who Agero works for, by its own announcements

Agero publishes no current client list. Its About page says only that “The majority of leading vehicle manufacturers and insurance providers use Agero’s solutions.” Its releases and help pages name these, each on a date:

**Clients Agero names on its own pages, read 17 October 2026**

| Client | What Agero announced | Where and when |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Ford Motor Company (Ford and Lincoln) | Renewed multi-year roadside partnership, with FordPass and Lincoln Way app integrations | Press release, June 6, 2024 |
| Volkswagen Group of America | Roadside provider for five brands: Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, Porsche and Lamborghini | Press release, October 12, 2016 |
| Subaru of America | Connected-vehicle services for Gen2 STARLINK, extending existing roadside work | Press release, January 4, 2017 |
| Mercedes-Benz | Welcomed “as a client” in a post to tow providers | Provider blog, January 30, 2024 |
| Hagerty (Hagerty Drivers Club) | Renewed multi-year roadside partnership | Press release, May 28, 2026 |
| Root Insurance | Digital roadside in every policy “at no additional cost” | Press release, May 27, 2020 |
| Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance | New roadside partnership for policyholders in Virginia | Press release, Jan. 21, 2026 |

| Road America Motor Club’s clients | Took over “more than 100” insurance, reseller, fleet and RV programs | Press release, June 17, 2020 |

Read the dates: a contract announced in 2016 may no longer run. Brands also use other firms. A footnote in GM’s 2018 certified pre-owned brochure, copied on our [Chevrolet certified pre-owned page](https://baronauto1.com/buying-guides/chevrolet-certified-pre-owned/#old-program), said “Roadside assistance provided by Allstate.” The only reliable way to know who answers your plan is to call the number the plan prints.

Some Agero programs pay the seller. Its Extended Roadside membership, sold through car makers for cars past the warranty, offers a “Revenue Share,” and Enhanced Roadside Subscriptions offer insurers “commission for every member enrolled.” If a dealer or insurer offers you a roadside membership, read its limits and check whether the car or your policy already covers you.

## Who owns Agero

A family business that began as a motor club. Agero’s 50th-anniversary post says Sid Wolk, “Agero’s founder,” started it as Cross Country Motor Club “in October of 1972”; it is signed by Sidney, Jeffrey and Howard Wolk and chief executive Dave Ferrick. Agero’s web pages end “A Cross Country Group Company,” its releases call it “a member company of The Cross Country Group,” and its March 13, 2026 release says “Agero will remain a privately held company, continuing to benefit from the long-term commitment provided by the Wolk family ownership since its founding more than 50 years ago.”

The SEC filings for the Urgently deal add detail. The [Schedule TO](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1603652/000119312526131754/d132042dsctot.htm) of March 30, 2026 names the bidder’s parent as “Agero, Inc., a Nevada corporation,” which the [Offer to Purchase](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1603652/000119312526131754/d132042dex99a1a.htm) says was “formed on September 28, 1982.” Its Schedule A lists David Ferrick as President since November 2011 and chief executive since December 2012, and Howard Wolk and Jeffrey Wolk as directors who have “served in various executive capacities at The Cross Country Group” since 1994 and 1992; The Cross Country Group’s finance chief is Agero’s treasurer. Schedule A covers “directors, executive officers and control persons” but prints no ownership percentages, and we found no filing that does. A third-party profile in search results named a private-equity owner; nothing from Agero or a regulator supports it.

Agero now owns another roadside company. It agreed on March 13, 2026 to buy Urgent.ly Inc., a publicly traded roadside and mobility provider, for $5.50 a share. By the offer’s expiry on April 25, 2026, 1,288,914 shares, “approximately 58.7%” of those outstanding, were tendered, and on April 28, 2026 Urgently became “a wholly owned subsidiary of Parent.” Agero estimated it needed “approximately $115 million” in all and had “sufficient cash on hand.” The 2,196,934 shares outstanding come to about $12.1 million at the offer price by our arithmetic; the filing does not itemize the rest beyond fees, expenses, untendered shares and equity awards. Agero promised that “experiences with us will remain unchanged.” It said the same of Road America Motor Club, whose assets it bought from MAPFRE Asistencia in June 2020: the club “is now serviced through Cross Country Motor Club,” and its toll-free and membership numbers “have not changed.”

## How a roadside request flows, and who decides what is covered

Agero carries out the plan; it does not write it. Its clients “may be your vehicle manufacturer, auto insurance carrier, financial institution, or other company that offers you towing and roadside assistance services and benefits,” and in that model “we are acting as a ‘service provider’ on behalf of our Client.” The Lyft ride terms say the same about money: “The dollar limit, ride allowance limits and other restrictions are set forth in your roadside assistance program benefit package.” From Agero’s help center, Terms and provider terms, a request runs like this:

1. **You ask for help** through your plan’s number, app or web page. A VIN is not required: asked “Is the vehicle VIN required?”, Agero’s help page for clients answers “No” and lists make, model, year, color, license plate and odometer instead.
2. **Coverage is checked.** Each job is “Covered, PartiallyCovered, NotCovered or Failed.” Dealers look a car up by “unit number of last 8 of the VIN.”
3. **A destination is chosen** from “a list of applicable locations that meet their coverage requirements.” Some plans restrict it: “in certain programs, the tow-to destination is restricted such as warranty coverage.”
4. **Agero picks a tow company,** weighing “location relative to your roadside service event, coverage distance under your roadside assistance program, service capabilities, and the relationship between Agero and certain Third Party Service Providers.”
5. **You get texts or calls,** then a survey (see [the next section](#texts-and-calls)).
6. **The plan pays the provider through Agero, and you pay any overage.**

**Figure: Annotated photograph**

Three numbered callouts over the photograph mark the tow truck’s bed, the operator and the car being loaded, each with one fact from Agero’s Terms, help center and tow-provider terms.

Agero’s Terms, help center and tow-provider terms, read on 16 October 2026: Tow operators are independent contractors; none may charge you extra without Agero's OK (callout 1); A real Agero text follows a request you made: location link, tracking, then a survey (callout 2); Your plan's limits decide coverage; a farther tow destination can mean paying the overage (callout 3). The photograph is illustrative.

The overage is where surprises happen. For a job without verified cover, Agero’s glossary tells clients: “They can pay out of pocket or you can approve this overage. Check with your manager and OEM on your internally policy for this.” The client decides whether to absorb it. Agero’s help center for State Farm agents says “The most common reason a customer is charged is for selecting a tow destination that exceeds their policy’s coverage limit,” that “a hold is placed on their credit card for the overage” until the job is done, and that a hold on a cancelled job “will typically fall off within 3-7 business days.”

**Who decides what in an Agero-run roadside event, per Agero’s documents read 17 October 2026**

| Question | Who decides | Agero’s wording |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Am I covered? | The plan sponsor | Privacy terms “are provided through your agreement with our Client” |
| How far can the tow go? | The plan’s limit | State Farm’s plan: “Towing to the nearest qualified repair facility (plus 20 miles)” |
| Which tow company comes? | Agero | Volume goes by “quality, cost, and location” |
| Do I pay anything? | The plan’s limit, then you | “They can pay out of pocket or you can approve this overage” |
| Who handles damage to my car? | You and the tow company; Agero may decide fault | Dealings “are solely between you and that Third Party Service Provider” |
| Who answers a privacy request? | The plan sponsor; Agero forwards it where the law requires | “please contact the Client directly to exercise any such rights” |

If the tow damages your car, the provider terms let Agero step in: it “may elect to make a determination on which party was at fault,” and if the provider is at fault and does not settle, “Agero is authorized to pay such Customer or third party on Your behalf.” Agero follows each state’s time limit: “We do not set our own policy on how long consumers have to submit a damage claim.” Providers must photograph the car before and after service; take your own pictures too.

## What Agero’s texts and calls look like

Agero’s Terms say that during a roadside or towing event “you may receive text messages that directly relate to the requested roadside assistance and/or towing service event, including text message(s) to assist with our ability to locate you in connection with your request for service, to keep you posted on the status of your service request, as well as to follow-up on the performance of the requested roadside assistance and/or towing service through a survey.” Requesting service allows “autodialer or non-autodialer technology” for texts and calls, and “Agero does not charge a separate fee for using the SMS service.” Its help pages show the texts in order:

- **A location link**, which “will only send when a job is created” and returns “an address if available or longitude and latitude location if they are not at a distinct address (like a highway).”
- **A tracking link.** The provider FAQ says that “when a driver puts themself En Route, the customer will get a text message with a live tracking link.”
- **A ride offer** on plans that include one: “Once your service provider secures your tow, you will receive a text message” about a Lyft Pass, and you “Respond ‘Y’ to the text message within three hours.” The pass is good “up to 24 hours after your roadside assistance service event,” and “Consent is not a condition to receive service.” On State Farm’s plan it is a “One-time, pre-paid Lyft voucher - up to $30 and valid for 24 hours.”
- **A survey** afterwards, whose scores feed how Agero ranks tow companies.

To stop them, “text STOP in a reply to the last text message received”; you get “one (1) final message,” and the opt-out covers only “your specific roadside and towing service event.” Calls can be “prerecorded and artificial voice and automated dialer,” the Privacy Policy says, for the service, “to confirm customer satisfaction” and “to inform you of updated features and Services”; all calls and chats “may be monitored, recorded and retained,” and in AI chat “you are not communicating with a human representative of Agero.” The Cross Country Motor Club guide describes “an automated call back system” that names the provider coming and gives an arrival estimate.

Later calls are possible too. Agero sells clients “Winback” follow-up after bad experiences, saying “Most customers are called within an hour by a specialized Winback case manager,” and its consumer affairs unit offers brands “white label support,” including “sales and renewal for outbound marketing.” Because the service is white label, a text or call may carry your plan’s name rather than Agero’s. Agero prints no sample message.

## How to tell a real Agero message from a fake one

Agero’s only fraud page, “[Stay Safe from Scams](https://www.agero.com/stay-safe-scams),” is about jobs: it warns of “fraudulent job postings and fake recruiters,” says “All legitimate Agero job opportunities are posted on our official careers site” and that “Legitimate communications from Agero generally come from email addresses ending in @agero.com.” For roadside messages it publishes no guide. Its own documents still give a usable test:

- **It follows a request.** Every text the Terms describe relates to “your request for service,” and the location link goes out only once a job exists. If nobody asked for help, it is not an Agero roadside text.
- **It is about this job:** location, status, tracking, a ride offer if your plan has one, a survey.
- **A payment link can be real, so check it another way.** A program can collect an overage through “a configured branded mobile page,” reached “from a SMS to your customer.” Before paying, ring the number on your plan’s card or app.
- **The truck and driver are identifiable.** Vehicles must be “clearly and conspicuously marked as a commercial vehicle of Your company,” and drivers must “wear apparel and/or a badge bearing the name of Your company in plain view of the Customer.”
- **The driver should not ask for cash.** Providers “shall not charge the Customer additional fees for the Services unless specifically authorized by Agero.” Agero may direct a provider to collect from the driver “in certain limited cases, such as the individual’s lack of a credit card.”

**A message you did not ask for is not part of a roadside event.** If a text or call about your roadside plan, warranty or tow asks you to pay, confirm card details or tap a link, and you made no request, do not answer from the message. Call the number on your own plan’s card, booklet or app. Our guide to [extended warranty companies](https://baronauto1.com/financing/extended-warranty-companies/#who-owes-you) shows how to check who stands behind a car protection plan.

## Privacy and location data, as printed

The Privacy Policy says “Your request for services through one of our Applications, by phone or other electronic means constitutes your consent” for Agero, its affiliates, clients and partners to use “your precise geolocation information (including the location of your Device),” adding “It is only used for this limited purpose.” The Supplemental Notice lists what a roadside event yields:

**What Agero says it collects during a roadside event (Supplemental Privacy Notice, effective January 1, 2026)**

| Data | Agero’s wording |
| --- | --- |
| Where you are, and where the car goes | “precise geolocation information to inform us of the physical location of the disablement location, and (if you are using a mobile application) the movement of the towed vehicle to the tow-to location” |
| Your messages | “mobile device information such as your SMS messages to us” |
| Your voice | “Audio recordings are made of your communications with our contact centers.” |
| The car | “the VIN, year, make, model, and color for the disabled vehicle” |
| Special needs | “identifying characteristics or special need requirements, such as gender, physical disability, or similar identifying information” |
| From the tow company | “your real-time precise geolocation information” |

Agero shares what the job needs with towing, emergency, repair and call-center providers, and also “For advertising, marketing and other business purposes.” It honors the Global Privacy Control signal but “does not respond to web browser ‘Do Not Track’ signals.” If you got the service through a client, “please contact the Client directly to exercise any such rights”; Agero forwards requests “Where required by law.” Cross Country Motor Club members and drivers who paid Agero directly can ask Agero, which charges nothing “unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.” One section says “We may ‘sell’ or ‘share’ any of the categories of personal information” through advertising cookies; another says “We do not sell your personal information for commercial purposes.”

## For tow operators: how Agero pays and ranks providers

Providers are “independent contractors and are solely responsible for the management and control of their operations.” Each signs with Agero Administrative Service Corp.: a private Rate Agreement plus the Terms and Conditions for Services effective July 7, 2025, a PDF marked “Agero Confidential and Proprietary” though Agero links it publicly. Joining carries “no risk and no cost,” Agero says; the deal is at will, with “no guarantee ... to submit a minimum number of offers.”

**Agero’s tow-provider terms in numbers (Terms and Conditions effective July 7, 2025; provider FAQs read 17 October 2026)**

| Term | What Agero’s documents say |
| --- | --- |
| Invoice | Within 60 days of the service, through Swoop |
| Dispute or resubmit | Within 30 days of the payment, denial or rejection |
| Payment | “Check runs are twice weekly, Tuesdays and Thursdays” |
| Partial fee | Not paid if Agero is not told within 15 minutes of a missed ETA, or if the job is cancelled within 15 minutes of dispatch |
| Miles | “audited miles as verified by Agero using such tools as a third-party GIS platform (such as Google Maps)” |
| Damage | Agero may decide fault, pay the customer and deduct it from what it owes you |
| Disputes | Notice, 120 days to settle, then arbitration in Boston within 18 months; no court, “INCLUDING SMALL CLAIMS COURTS” |
| Insurance | Terms: $1,000,000 general liability per occurrence, $1,000,000 auto, $150,000 on-hook and garage-keepers, $500,000 employers liability. FAQ: “$300,000-$1,000,000” and “$100,000-$150,000” ranges |

“Our algorithm uses three key factors when distributing volume: quality, cost, and location,” and the survey score “has direct impact on the amount of volume we offer you,” counted only “when you are the FIRST AND ONLY provider called to assist.” A strong acceptance rate “is required to stay in our network”; location sharing now counts; and providers are told to “Keep add-on fees to a minimum to protect your rank.” Extra charges need photos, and an agreed amount can be “paid at a different rate if the amount is deemed egregious.” Urgently’s last annual report, filed before the purchase closed, said small providers “often contract with multiple motor clubs and other roadside service aggregators,” and counted 13,510 under contract at the end of 2025.

## Cross Country Motor Club, Agero’s own membership

Cross Country Motor Club (CCMC) is “Agero’s premiere roadside assistance membership program, available to all drivers.” The only CCMC guide we found online is linked from Agero’s page for its own staff (“As a valued Agero employee”): form BGD-20603, dated 5/24. Plans sold to the public may differ. It shows how a CCMC plan is built:

- “THIS IS NOT AN INSURANCE CONTRACT,” nor a service contract. In Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Wisconsin and Wyoming, CCMC of California provides the services.
- Prepaid help “up to a maximum of $100 per disablement,” one disablement per cause in 7 days and “four service incidents per plan year,” so at most $400 a year by our arithmetic. Above that, “you must pay the excess.”
- “Assistance from sources other than CCMC is not covered and may not be reimbursable”; claims are due “within 30 days of your disablement.”
- Dues renew automatically. Cancelling brings a pro-rata refund, except for a membership that came “in conjunction with the purchase of another product, service or as a gift.” “The Plan is non-transferable.”
- Reimbursements are backed by “a contractual liability policy issued by Old Republic Insurance Company.” No price is printed.

## Buying a used car: find the roadside plan that covers it

A used car can carry roadside help from several plans at once. Agero’s research found “roughly 4 out of 5 drivers have some form of roadside assistance policy,” and its 2026 survey of more than 1,000 drivers that “26% of drivers with brand-new 2026-model vehicles don’t realize they have warranty roadside coverage.” Terms vary widely, as this table of plans this site has read shows:

**Roadside terms printed in plans a used car can carry (copied from this site’s readings, dates shown)**

| Source | Document | What it prints | Read |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Factory warranty | [Cadillac 2020 warranty manual](https://baronauto1.com/buying-guides/cadillac-certified-pre-owned/#clock) | “Roadside Assistance is provided for the duration of the Limited Powertrain Warranty Coverage” | 1 October 2026 |
| Certified pre-owned | [Toyota Gold supplement](https://baronauto1.com/buying-guides/toyota-certified-pre-owned/#extras) | “7-year/100,000-mile Roadside Assistance from the date of certified used vehicle purchase” | 30 September 2026 |
| Brand service contract | [Hyundai Protection Plan sample](https://baronauto1.com/financing/hyundai-extended-warranty/#benefits) | “Roadside Assistance is NOT A WARRANTY.” | 30 September 2026 |
| Third-party service contract | [CarShield Diamond term sample](https://baronauto1.com/financing/carshield/#plans) | “$125.00 per occurrence, up to four (4) occurrences annually” | 6 October 2026 |
| Dealer-sold service contract | [EasyCare form B1035099](https://baronauto1.com/financing/easycare-warranty/#plans) | Roadside services “up to $100 per occurrence” | 16 October 2026 |
| Insurance policy | State Farm, per Agero’s agent help center | “Towing to the nearest qualified repair facility (plus 20 miles)” | 17 October 2026 |
| Repair shop | [Honest-1 365 Roadside](https://baronauto1.com/car-care/honest-1-auto-care/#claims-and-roadside) | “up to a maximum of $75.00 per occurrence” | 16 October 2026 |

Factory roadside usually runs on the original warranty’s clock, which Cadillac starts “on the date the vehicle is first delivered or put in use,” so an older car may have none left; see [factory coverage on a used car](https://baronauto1.com/buying-guides/does-a-used-car-come-with-a-warranty/#factory) and [finding the in-service date](https://baronauto1.com/vehicle-history/vin-warranty-check/#in-service). A certified car can restart roadside at purchase. Plans also overlap: the Hyundai sample pays only the difference when “OTHER COVERAGE” pays less, and CCMC covers no outside help. Who answers is printed on the plan: Agero’s contact page says “please check your insurance or warranty coverage to find the 800-number for your program,” and a service contract’s first page usually names who [owes the repair](https://baronauto1.com/financing/extended-warranty-companies/#who-owes-you).

- **Get the in-service date** and work out what remains of the factory warranty and its roadside.
- **Ask for every plan in writing:** certified paperwork, service contract, motor club card. Note each roadside number and cap.
- **Check your insurance** for roadside cover, and ask whether a roadside call counts as a claim.
- **Read the overage rule:** tows past the plan’s distance or dollar limit are yours to pay.
- **Save the numbers in your phone** and request help only through them.
- **At the roadside,** photograph the car before it is hooked up and keep every text and receipt.

## Court records, and where Agero’s own pages disagree

Searches on 17 October 2026 found no attorney general, FTC or state insurance department action naming Agero or Cross Country Motor Club; that is a search result, not a clearance. The Offer to Purchase states that in the past five years neither Agero, its bidding subsidiary nor, to their knowledge, anyone on Schedule A was “convicted in a criminal proceeding (excluding traffic violations or similar misdemeanors).” The one court record we read is Agero’s own suit against a former sales executive and Road America Motor Club ([D. ## Common questions

### What is Agero, and why did it text me?

Agero runs roadside assistance for car makers, insurers and other plan sponsors, usually under their names. Its texts relate to a roadside request: where you are, status, tracking and a survey. If no one asked for help, call your plan directly instead.

### Is Agero part of my insurance or car warranty?

It may be the company your insurer or car maker hires to deliver the service. Agero names Ford, Volkswagen Group of America, Hagerty, Root, Virginia Farm Bureau and State Farm among clients, each on a date. Your policy or warranty decides what is covered.

### Who owns Agero?

Agero says it is “a member company of The Cross Country Group” under “Wolk family ownership” since Sid Wolk founded Cross Country Motor Club in 1972. Its 2026 SEC filing lists Howard and Jeffrey Wolk as directors. It has owned Urgent.ly Inc. since April 28, 2026.

### Does Agero charge for roadside assistance?

Your plan pays up to its limit; you pay any overage, most often for a longer tow. Agero charges no separate fee for its texts, and a tow operator it sends may not charge you unless Agero authorizes it.

### How do I contact Agero roadside assistance?

Through your plan. Agero’s contact page tells drivers to check their insurance or warranty coverage for the program’s number, and its help center says the plan’s own roadside line reaches the agents who know your program.

### How does Agero pay tow companies?

At each provider’s contracted rates, on invoices sent within 60 days, with check runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays and disputes due within 30 days. Jobs go out on quality, cost and location.
