## The short version

- First Help Financial, LLC is a Massachusetts auto lender that buys loans from car dealers. “We do not take applications directly from consumers,” its dealers page says; its filings describe the dealer’s retail installment contract and First Help as the secured party on your title.
- It says it serves people “usually overlooked or mispriced by traditional financial institutions.” Its 2022-2 social bond page counts 3,147 borrowers with no FICO score at origination and 4,531 with “limited documentation.” None of the pages we read mentions an ITIN.
- It prints no rates. The one fee it prints: debit-card payments moved from 1.04% to a flat $8.50 on 10 April 2026, which by our arithmetic costs more on any payment under $817.31. FHF Easy Pay autopay has “No Fees.”
- The website Terms send disputes to individual arbitration if either side chooses, with no opt-out printed, and repossession does not waive First Help’s right to arbitrate.
- First Help is the sponsor of 15 securitizations since 2020, whose data files held 97,571 accounts by our arithmetic. Every repurchase report it filed says “no activity to report.”
- The CFPB database holds 226 complaints filed under “First Help Financial, LLC,” 65.9% about credit reports. We found no regulator action naming it, and could not verify a state licence without hitting a bot wall.

First Help Financial is an indirect auto lender: a dealer writes your car loan and First Help buys it, holds the lien and collects your payments. On 17 October 2026 we read its website (customers, dealers, payments, investor and social bond pages, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and privacy notice), its [SEC filings](https://www.sec.gov/edgar/browse/?CIK=1817141) (a 2021 Form D and 22 Forms ABS-15G: 15 for individual securitizations, with their accountants’ reports, and 7 repurchase reports), two Massachusetts records, the CFPB enforcement index and the CFPB complaint counts. We opened no login, application or consent form. This site has no commercial relationship with First Help Financial or any lender.

**Figure: First Help Financial’s pages next to its filings**

A two-column table setting six things First Help Financial’s website says, or leaves out, against what its SEC filings and public records add: no applications taken directly from consumers, against dealer contracts assigned to First Help as secured party; a debit-card fee that moved from 1.04% to a flat $8.50 on 10 April 2026, which by our arithmetic costs more on any payment under $817.31; no printed rates, states or credit-score floor, against a social bond page counting 3,147 borrowers with no FICO score and 4,531 with limited documentation; tri-bureau credit reporting, against 65.9% of 226 CFPB complaints concerning credit reports; arbitration terms with no opt-out; and 15 securitizations with no repurchase activity reported.

Read from First Help Financial’s website, its SEC filings (EDGAR CIK 1817141) and the CFPB complaint database on 17 October 2026. No login, application or consent form was opened.

## How a First Help loan works: you apply at the dealer, First Help holds the contract

You never apply to First Help yourself. Its dealers page says: “First Help Financial is an indirect auto dealer. This means we do not take applications directly from consumers.” The wording is odd, since First Help sells no cars. Its own SEC filings describe it more exactly. In the accountants’ report filed with its October 2026 securitization, “The term ‘Contract’ means electronic Indirect Retail Installment Automobile Contract,” and the accountants “verified that the Company was the secured party” on the title.

So the dealer writes the contract and First Help takes it over; its Terms refer to agreements “which have been assigned to First Help.” The rate, term and payment come from that contract. First Help publishes no sample contract, so the APR, any late charge and any clause about tracking devices are in your paperwork, not on its website. Its Terms agree: “To the extent any provision of these Terms conflicts with your retail installment sales contract, the terms of that contract shall prevail.”

Dealers sign up through a sales team, and First Help pitches them “Innovative Underwriting,” “Fast Funding,” “Hands on Training” and “Easy Integration.” Its loan data files carry a field named “AMM DEALER FEE,” with no value or definition given. Ask the finance manager whether the dealer is paid for placing your loan with First Help, and get a second quote.

The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles lienholder list dated 10/05/2026 shows “FIRST HELP FINANCIAL LLC” with an ELT flag, meaning its liens there can be recorded and released electronically rather than on a paper title.

## Who First Help lends to, and what it says about documents

The homepage says First Help “has served customers with limited access to financial services for over a decade” and aims to provide “fairly priced auto loans to consumers who are usually overlooked or mispriced by traditional financial institutions.” Its investor page credits “our proprietary underwriting methodology.” Its customer service representatives are “fluent in English, Brazilian Portuguese, Cape Verdean Portuguese and Spanish,” the dealers page says.

The clearest description of its borrowers is a social bond page for its 2022-2 securitization, which First Help says it would update “annually thereafter” to show “the social impact of the Bonds issued.”

**First Help’s impact metrics for the FHF 2022-2 deal, as printed on its website (read 17 October 2026)**

| Metric as printed | Figure |
| --- | --- |
| Borrowers with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) | 4,792 |
| Borrowers with no FICO score at origination | 3,147 |
| Borrowers with limited documentation | 4,531 |
| No-FICO-score borrowers with a 700+, 600-700 or any FICO score (three metrics) | Blank |
| Self-employed borrowers | 1,474 |
| Work trucks or vans financed | 1,645 |

The page does not define “limited documentation” or give the total number of borrowers, so we compute no shares. The three metrics the page says “will continue to evolve annually” are blank, and the matching page for the 2023-1 deal lists all eight metrics with no figures at all.

Does First Help lend to borrowers who use an ITIN instead of a Social Security number? Its own pages do not say: none that we read mentions an ITIN, a matrícula consular or immigration status. Its Privacy Policy lists the identifiers it may collect, including “Social Security Number,” “passport number” and “driver’s license or state identification card number,” and says customers may “show us your government issued ID.” Its loan data files carry a field named “APP ID TYPE,” but the filings do not say which kinds of ID it records. If you have no Social Security number, ask the dealer before the credit application is sent whether First Help will accept your documents.

Borrowers with a Social Security number may be asked to confirm it: a consent form on the site lets the Social Security Administration tell First Help, “through SentiLink Corp.,” whether your name, number and date of birth match, and says “My consent is for a one-time validation within the next 30 days.” It opens only from a link First Help sends.

First Help prints no minimum credit score, no vehicle age or mileage limit and no list of states. Our guide to [the credit score you need to buy a car](https://baronauto1.com/financing/credit-score-to-buy-a-car/#no-minimum) explains why lenders rarely publish a floor.

## Paying First Help: Easy Pay, the app, cash, mail and the $8.50 card fee

First Help’s [payments page](https://firsthelpfinancial.com/payments) lists five ways to pay and prints one fee. It promises “cash options at thousands of our nationwide locations” but no list of where it lends.

**How First Help says you can pay, and the fees it prints (payments page, read 17 October 2026)**

| Method | What the page says | Fee printed |
| --- | --- | --- |
| FHF Easy Pay (automatic withdrawal) | “Payments will be automatically withdrawn from your bank account” | “No Fees” |
| Debit card or bank account in the app or online | To link your loan you need “your date of birth, zip code and last 6 digits of your FHF account number” | Debit card: 1.04% per transaction until 04/10/2026, then “a flat $8.50 fee per transaction” |
| Check or money order by phone | Call customer service “when ready to make your payment” | None printed |
| Check or money order by mail | To a Chicago lockbox; mail “at least 5 days in advance of your due date” | None printed |
| Cash at 7-Eleven and CVS | “Use Moneygram” with a barcode First Help sends to your phone | None printed |

The debit-card change matters most. A percentage fee grows with the payment; a flat fee does not. By our arithmetic, 1.04% equals $8.50 on a payment of $817.31, so anyone paying less than that by debit card now pays more per payment than before 10 April 2026. On an illustrative $500 payment the old fee was $5.20; the new one is $3.30 more. Twelve monthly card payments at $8.50 come to $102 a year. Easy Pay costs nothing, and a bank-account payment in the app is not listed with a fee, so set one of those up if your bank balance can carry the withdrawal on the due date.

Mail needs lead time, and the page warns against couriers: the post-office box “must not be used for packages sent via courier (FedEx/UPS),” which go to a separate lockbox address on the same page. Dealers are told not to send deal packages to either. Cash at 7-Eleven or CVS needs a barcode: “If you don’t have a barcode, call, text, or chat us to get your barcode sent to your phone.” The page prints no MoneyGram fee; ask at the counter. Customer service hours are 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM Eastern on weekdays and 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturdays, closed Sundays and federal holidays. We print no phone number here; use the one on your statement or contract.

The page has small slips: its app panel opens with “Call one of our customer service specialists today to make a payment by phone,” and the cash panel names 7-Eleven and CVS but says “Use Moneygram.” Confirm that each payment posted. Your contract, not the website, sets any late fee.

## Credit reporting and disputes

The customers page lists “Tri-Bureau Credit Reporting” among First Help’s services, and its privacy notice says it shares information to “report to credit bureaus.” That cuts both ways: on-time payments can build a file for someone who had none, and a late one reaches all three bureaus. First Help does not say when in the month it reports or after how many days a payment counts as late.

Disputes go by mail. The contact page says: “If you have a dispute with the credit reporting of your account, please submit your direct dispute to the address below,” an office address in Needham, Massachusetts. Send it by a tracked method, keep a copy, and dispute with the credit bureau as well.

Credit reports are the largest single theme in the CFPB complaints filed under First Help’s name (see [below](#complaints)): 85 concern “Credit inquiries on your report that you don’t recognize.” When a dealer sends your application to several lenders, each may pull your credit; our guide to [rate shopping](https://baronauto1.com/financing/credit-score-to-buy-a-car/#rate-shopping) explains how scores treat that. If a First Help inquiry appears and you never bought a car through a dealer that used it, raise it in writing with First Help and the bureau.

## Falling behind: hardship help, repossession, location data and insurance

First Help prints no hardship programme, deferral policy or extension rule. The customers page offers outside help instead: “Through First Help Financial’s Partnership with SpringFour, you can find local resources to save money on things like groceries, utility costs, and prescription medications.” Its loan data files do carry fields named “DEFERRALS” and “RATE REDUCTION,” so changes of that kind are tracked, but no document we read says who qualifies or how to ask. Ask in writing before a payment is missed, and keep the reply.

On default, the website says little, and the contract governs. The Terms mention repossession once, to say that “Neither you nor we waive the right to arbitrate by using self-help remedies, such as repossession, or by filing an action to recover the vehicle, to recover a deficiency balance.” The loan data files include a “VEHICLE REPOSSESSED” field. The Privacy Policy is the only page that touches location: “With collateral recovery and disposition vendors we disclose Identifiers, Other Personal Information, Geolocation.” It does not say whether cars carry GPS trackers or starter-interrupt devices. Check your contract and any add-on forms for a device clause, and see our guide to [tracking and disabling devices](https://baronauto1.com/financing/buy-here-pay-here/#devices) for the state rules.

**The contract decides what happens when you miss payments.** First Help’s website prints no grace period, late fee, repossession timeline or hardship rule, and its Terms say the retail installment contract prevails where they conflict. Read the late-charge and default sections of your contract before you sign, and if you fall behind, ask First Help in writing what it can offer. Our guides cover [getting a repossessed car back](https://baronauto1.com/financing/car-repossession/#getting-it-back) and [what you owe after the sale](https://baronauto1.com/financing/car-repossession/#the-sale).

Insurance appears only in the privacy notice: “Our affiliates include insurance companies, such as Amparo Insurance, LLC.” First Help shares information with affiliates for their everyday business and lets affiliates market to you; you can limit the marketing and the sharing of information about your creditworthiness by calling, and “If you are a new customer, we can begin sharing your information 30 days from the date we sent this notice.” Nothing on First Help’s pages requires you to insure with an affiliate. If a dealer offers GAP or a service contract with the loan, ask for the price of each separately; our [GAP guide](https://baronauto1.com/financing/gap-insurance/#how-it-works) explains what it covers.

**Figure: Annotated photograph**

Three numbered callouts over the photograph mark the signature line, the pen and the form’s printed terms, each with one fact from First Help Financial’s payment page, Terms and SEC filings.

First Help Financial’s payment page, Terms and SEC filings, read on 16 October 2026: First Help buys the dealer’s contract and is the secured party on the title (callout 1); Debit-card payments cost a flat $8.50 since 10 April 2026; autopay is free (callout 2); Website Terms: disputes go to individual arbitration, with no opt-out printed (callout 3). The photograph is illustrative.

## The website Terms: arbitration with no printed opt-out

First Help’s Terms of Service (effective 03/18/2024) have an arbitration clause that reaches disputes about the site, its “mobile application” and “the data provided to us”: “If either you or we choose, any dispute between you and us will be decided by arbitration and not in court.” The main points:

- **No class actions.** You agree to give up any right “to bring a class action lawsuit or class arbitration,” and the clause also covers claims against First Help’s “account servicers, debt buyers, or assigns.” If the class waiver is struck down, the whole arbitration section falls away.
- **Who runs it and where.** The American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, or another body you choose with First Help’s approval. “The arbitration hearing shall be conducted in the federal district in which you reside.”
- **Fees.** If you start the arbitration, you pay initial filing or case fees “up to $225” and First Help pays the rest; it pays the arbitrator for the first day, “up to a maximum of eight hours.” After that the arbitrator decides who pays.
- **Exceptions.** Small-claims court stays open for individual relief, and California public-injunction claims go to court.
- **Repossession.** Repossessing the car or suing to recover it or a deficiency balance does not waive First Help’s right to send your claims to arbitration.
- **No opt-out.** The clause sets out no way to reject arbitration; “opt out” does not appear anywhere in the Terms. (The Terms also point readers to “SECTION 10 BELOW,” but none of their sections is numbered.)

These are website terms. Your retail installment contract may contain its own arbitration clause, with its own rules and perhaps an opt-out, and the Terms say the contract wins where they conflict. Read that clause before you sign. The Terms also say Massachusetts law governs, that First Help may contact you “by any method” to service the account or collect, including “automatic telephone dialing systems” and “prerecorded or artificial voice messages” on any number you give, and that calls may be recorded. Give only numbers that are yours.

The Privacy Policy (effective 02/19/2024) counts “Precise geolocation” among the “Sensitive Personal Information” First Help may hold. It says “We do not sell your personal information” and, in the California sense of cross-context advertising, “We do not share your personal information,” while the federal privacy notice says First Help shares with affiliates, including “For our affiliates to market to you,” which you can limit. The two documents use “share” in different legal senses.

## Where your loan goes: 15 securitizations since 2020

First Help sells pools of its loans to trusts that issue notes to investors. The notes are sold privately under what each accountants’ report calls “the confidential Preliminary Offering Memorandum,” so no prospectus is on EDGAR, but First Help files a Form ABS-15G for each deal with the accountants’ report on its loan data file attached. Fifteen such filings run from FHF Trust 2020-1 in July 2020 to FHF Issuer Trust 2026-3 on 16 October 2026.

**First Help Financial’s securitizations, from its Forms ABS-15G and the RSM US LLP reports filed with them (read 17 October 2026)**

| Trust | Form ABS-15G filed | Data file cutoff | Accounts in that file |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| FHF Trust 2020-1 | 8 July 2020 | 31 May 2020 | 8,420 |
| FHF Trust 2021-1 | 9 March 2021 | 12 February 2021 | 4,031 |
| FHF Trust 2021-2 | 20 August 2021 | 31 July 2021 | 3,832 |
| FHF Trust 2022-1 | 29 April 2022 | 31 March 2022 | 5,366 |
| FHF Trust 2022-2 | 29 September 2022 | 31 August 2022 | 5,258 |
| FHF Trust 2023-1 | 6 April 2023 | 28 February 2023 | 7,119 |
| FHF Issuer Trust 2023-2 | 11 October 2023 | 30 September 2023 | 7,299 |
| FHF Issuer Trust 2024-1 | 2 February 2024 | 31 December 2023 | 10,196 |
| FHF Issuer Trust 2024-2 | 31 May 2024 | 30 April 2024 | 4,896 |
| FHF Issuer Trust 2024-3 | 7 October 2024 | 31 August 2024 | 5,569 |
| FHF Issuer Trust 2025-1 | 26 February 2025 | 17 January 2025 | 4,154 |
| FHF Issuer Trust 2025-2 | 14 November 2025 | 30 September 2025 | 10,816 |
| FHF Issuer Trust 2026-1 | 14 April 2026 | 28 February 2026 | 8,225 |
| FHF Issuer Trust 2026-2 | 10 August 2026 | 30 June 2026 | 6,183 |
| FHF Issuer Trust 2026-3 | 16 October 2026 | 15 September 2026 | 6,207 |

By our arithmetic the 15 data files held 97,571 accounts. A data file at a cutoff date is not always the final pool, so read that as a measure of scale, not a loan count. The three deals filed in 2026 so far held 20,615 accounts, 1.38 times the 14,970 in the two deals filed in 2025.

The accountants’ checks are narrow. For 2026-3, RSM US LLP sampled 125 of the 6,207 accounts, compared fields such as amount financed, term and APR with the contract and title, and verified that First Help was the secured party. It found no exceptions, and 13 of the 15 reports found none. The 2020-1 report found 1 account of 150 “where the credit application signature was not visible,” and the 2022-1 report found 1 account of 150 that “had a rate exception granted during funding,” with an APR of 19.90% on the contract and 19.99% in the data file. That is one sampled contract, not a typical rate. The 2026-3 report also says its work did not address whether loans met underwriting rules or “the compliance of the originator of the assets with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.”

Investors can ask a securitizer to buy back loans that break its promises about them. First Help has filed seven Rule 15Ga-1 reports, the latest for 2025 on 9 February 2026, and each says “The securitizer has no activity to report.” If your loan sits in one of these trusts, the payments page makes no distinction: you pay First Help either way.

## Who runs First Help, and its licences

First Help Financial, LLC is a Massachusetts limited liability company (EDGAR CIK 1817141). Its website, its 2026 filings and the RMV list place it in Needham, Massachusetts; EDGAR’s filer record still gives a Newton, Massachusetts address. The accountants address their 2026 reports to “First Help Financial, LLC and Subsidiaries.”

Its only Form D, filed 17 November 2021, reported a $60 million debt offering under Rule 506(b), fully sold to 24 investors from 3 November 2021, with $1.8 million in sales commissions to Piper Sandler & Co. (3% of the amount, by our arithmetic). It names Pushan Sen Gupta, who signed as President & CEO, and Philip Carnevale as executive officers, and Charles Treacy, Michael Treacy and Joseph Campanelli as directors. Phillip Carnevale signed the February and October 2026 Forms ABS-15G as Chief Financial Officer (the filings spell his first name two ways). A Form D lists officers and directors, not owners, and none of the documents we read says who owns First Help.

Licences are the gap in this review. Every page carries “NMLS Number: 979663” and a link to NMLS Consumer Access, which answered us with a Cloudflare block. Search results pointed to Missouri and Indiana licence pages, but Missouri’s sat behind an Imperva block, even in a browser, and Indiana’s host blocked us too, as did California’s DFPI. We bypassed none of them, so we state no licence. Before you sign, look up NMLS ID 979663 yourself, or ask your state’s finance regulator whether First Help holds a sales finance licence there.

## Regulators and courts: what the public record shows

We found no enforcement action naming First Help: two indexes we could read list none, and a web search for consent orders, settlements and attorney-general actions under its name returned none.

**The public record on First Help Financial, from the documents read on 17 October 2026**

| Record | What it shows | Source |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Massachusetts Division of Banks enforcement index (page dated 16 October 2026) | Orders from 2003 to 2 October 2026, including several against motor vehicle sales finance companies; no entry for First Help, FHF or NMLS 979663 | mass.gov |
| CFPB enforcement actions, filtered by the title “first help” | “Sorry, there were no results based on your filter selections.” (The same filter for “credit acceptance” does return a case.) | consumerfinance.gov |
| MassDOT RMV lienholder list, 10/05/2026 | First Help listed as a lienholder with an ELT flag | mass.gov |
| Rule 15Ga-1 reports, 2020 to 2025 | Seven reports, each “no activity to report” on repurchase demands | SEC EDGAR |
| Court dockets | None read; this page describes no lawsuit | Not searched |
| State licence records | Not verified: NMLS, Missouri, Indiana and California sites blocked automated reading | Not reached |

An empty index is not a clean bill of health. Other states publish orders in their own lists, which we did not search, and the accountants’ reports state that they did not test legal compliance. It does mean that, as of 17 October 2026, neither First Help’s home-state banking regulator nor the CFPB lists an action against it.

## CFPB complaints: what 226 reports show

The CFPB’s public database held 226 complaints filed under “First Help Financial, LLC,” received from 10 November 2016 to 3 October 2026 (pulled 17 October 2026 for complaints received through 16 October). Searches for “fhf” and “firsthelp” found no other name. These are unverified reports that consumers submit and companies answer, and they grow with a lender’s size, so they show what people complain about, not how likely a problem is. The CFPB stopped publishing narratives on 30 September 2026; only counts are used.

Most are about credit reports, not the loan. By our arithmetic 149 complaints, or 65.9%, fall under the two credit-reporting product names, and 85 of all complaints concern “Credit inquiries on your report that you don’t recognize” (37.6%). Another 38 concern “Incorrect information on your report.” Vehicle loan complaints number 62 (27.4%): managing the loan (23, including 8 about add-on products bought with the loan and 7 billing problems), repossession (16, or 25.8% of vehicle complaints, including 5 about getting the car back after repossession and 5 tagged “Lender trying to repossess or disable the vehicle”), problems at the end of the loan (9, including 4 about getting the title after payoff) and getting a loan (6). The tags are the CFPB’s categories, chosen by the complainant; they do not say any device was used.

**Complaints filed under First Help Financial, LLC in the CFPB database by year received (pulled 17 October 2026; 2026 is partial)**

| Year | All complaints | Vehicle loan or lease |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 2016 to 2022 | 15 | 6 |
| 2023 | 21 | 2 |
| 2024 | 44 | 3 |
| 2025 | 66 | 19 |
| 2026 to 16 October | 80 | 32 |

Complaints in 2025 were 1.5 times the 2024 count, by our arithmetic, and the 80 received in 2026 through 16 October already exceed all of 2025. Vehicle-loan complaints rose fastest: 32 so far in 2026, 1.68 times 2025’s 19. The securitization data files grew too (above), so part of the rise is a bigger book. First Help closed 212 complaints “with explanation,” 6 with non-monetary relief and 2 with monetary relief, with 6 still in progress; the CFPB marks 95.6% as answered on time. Complainants came from 30 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, most from New York (33), Florida (31), Texas (20) and Georgia (19); that is where complainants live, not a list of where First Help lends. BBB blocked our requests, so no BBB figure is used.

## Before you sign a First Help loan at the dealer

- **Get a second quote first.** First Help prints no rates. A [pre-approval](https://baronauto1.com/financing/car-loan-preapproval/) from a bank or credit union gives you an APR to compare, and our [first-time buyer guide](https://baronauto1.com/buying-guides/first-time-car-buyer/) covers the rest.
- **Read the contract’s APR, term, late charge and default sections.** The dealer writes the contract and First Help’s Terms say it prevails; the website sets none of these.
- **Look for an arbitration clause and an opt-out in the contract.** The website Terms print none.
- **Ask about tracking devices.** The Privacy Policy shares location data with “collateral recovery and disposition vendors”; ask the dealer whether a GPS or starter-interrupt device is fitted and who pays for it.
- **Price every add-on separately.** Get the payment with and without GAP or a service contract and the [out-the-door price](https://baronauto1.com/buying-guides/out-the-door-price/) in writing; compare it with our list of [dealer fees](https://baronauto1.com/financing/what-are-dealer-fees/).
- **Set up FHF Easy Pay or a bank-account payment.** Debit-card payments cost a flat $8.50 each since 10 April 2026.
- **Check for a licence.** Look up NMLS ID 979663 or ask your state regulator; we could not verify one.
- **Have the car inspected** with a [pre-purchase inspection](https://baronauto1.com/buying-guides/used-car-pre-purchase-inspection/); the loan says nothing about its condition.

## Common questions

### What is First Help Financial LLC?

A Massachusetts auto finance company that buys car loans from dealers. It says it “provides financing for vehicles and services the related accounts,” takes no applications directly from consumers, and becomes the secured party on your title. Its website lists NMLS number 979663. If a First Help loan or credit inquiry appears that you do not recognise, raise it in writing with First Help and the credit bureau.

### Is First Help Financial legit?

It is an established lender with public filings: 15 securitizations since 2020, filed with the SEC under CIK 1817141. Neither the Massachusetts Division of Banks nor the CFPB lists an enforcement action against it as of 17 October 2026. It also draws complaints: 226 in the CFPB database, most about credit reports. We could not verify its state licences without hitting bot walls, so check NMLS ID 979663 yourself.

### How do I pay First Help Financial or log in?

The payments page links an online account at myfirsthelploan.com and iOS and Android apps; to link your loan you need “your date of birth, zip code and last 6 digits of your FHF account number.” You can also use FHF Easy Pay autopay (no fee), pay by phone, mail a check or money order at least 5 days before the due date, or pay cash with a barcode at 7-Eleven or CVS through MoneyGram. Debit-card payments cost a flat $8.50 each since 10 April 2026.

### What is First Help Financial’s phone number or lienholder address?

We do not print phone numbers; First Help’s contact page lists its customer service line, a WhatsApp channel and email, and your statements carry them too. Mailed payments go to a Chicago lockbox and credit-reporting disputes to its Needham, Massachusetts office. For a payoff or title question, ask First Help for a written payoff quote and lien-release instructions; its website prints neither.

### Does First Help Financial accept an ITIN?

Its pages do not say. They describe borrowers “usually overlooked or mispriced by traditional financial institutions,” and its 2022-2 social bond page counts 3,147 borrowers with no FICO score and 4,531 with “limited documentation,” but no page we read mentions an ITIN. Because you apply through a dealer, ask the dealer before the application goes out whether First Help will accept your ID and income documents.

### Has First Help Financial been sued or fined?

We found no enforcement action: the Massachusetts Division of Banks index from 2003 to 2026 and the CFPB’s enforcement list show none, and a search for settlements and attorney-general actions under its name returned nothing. We read no court docket and describe no lawsuit. Its website Terms require individual arbitration if either side chooses, with no printed opt-out.
