## The short version

- Prestige Financial Services, Inc. is an auto lender in Draper, Utah, formed in 1994. Its Privacy Notice says its affiliates “include the Larry H. Miller group of companies,” and the group’s own 2020 release called Prestige “a business enterprise group within the LHM Group portfolio.”
- It no longer offers a way to apply. Its customer site has only sign-in, payment, AutoPay, Rate Reduction Rewards and customer service. A dealer email that the trade newsletter CDG News reprinted says Prestige stopped taking credit applications on 20 November 2025. Prestige has not published that statement on its own site.
- If you already have a Prestige loan, you still deal with Prestige. Your contract may sit in one of its securitization trusts: the data file for the newest, Prestige Auto Receivables Trust 2026-1, held 5,430 contracts on 30 April 2026.
- Rate Reduction Rewards cuts a contract rate above 14% APR by 0.25 points every three on-time months, or 0.5 points with AutoPay, until it reaches 14%. The payment stays the same, so the loan ends sooner.
- Prestige’s public pages print no payment fees, payoff steps, title timeline or hardship policy. For those, your retail installment contract and Prestige’s written answers are the only sources.
- We found no CFPB or Texas enforcement action against Prestige. The CFPB database holds 831 complaints under its name, filed from March 2013 to December 2023 and none since, plus 863 under the Larry H. Miller group’s name that the CFPB does not tie to any one business.

Prestige Financial Services still services the car loans it made, but by the only account we could find of its own words, it stopped making new ones in November 2025. On 25 October 2026 we read Prestige’s customer site (its home and payment pages, Site Terms and Conditions, Privacy Notice, Privacy and Data Policy, text-message terms, Michigan disclosures and Rate Reduction Rewards page), its 29 SEC filings on [EDGAR](https://www.sec.gov/edgar/browse/?CIK=1541629), its GLEIF company record, Texas licence and enforcement records, the CFPB’s enforcement list and complaint database, the Larry H. Miller Group’s 2020 release about Prestige, and the CDG News article that reprints its dealer email. We did not log in, use the payment form or start an application, and this site has no commercial relationship with Prestige or any lender.

**Figure: Prestige Financial for existing borrowers**

A two-column table of seven things an existing Prestige Financial borrower sees, set against Prestige’s own pages and public records: no application or dealer page on its site, and a dealer email reprinted by CDG News saying applications ended on 20 November 2025; payments go to Prestige through its own site, with gopfs.com and 888dropmyrate.com redirecting there; its 2026-1 securitization data file held 5,430 contracts on 30 April 2026; Rate Reduction Rewards cut rates above 14% by 0.25 points every three on-time months, or 0.5 with AutoPay, to a 14% floor; KPMG lists 29 spellings of Prestige accepted as lienholder on titles; its affiliates include the Larry H. Miller group and you can limit 3 of 7 kinds of sharing; and the CFPB database holds 831 complaints under the Prestige name, none after 8 December 2023, and 863 under the group’s name.

Read from Prestige Financial Services’ customer site, its SEC filings (EDGAR CIK 1541629), Texas OCCC records, GLEIF and the CFPB complaint database on 25 October 2026. No login, payment or application was entered.

## Is Prestige Financial still making loans?

Not according to the one statement we found, and nothing on its own site suggests otherwise. Prestige’s customer site now opens with “Welcome to Prestige” and two buttons, Sign In and Make a Payment, above four panels: account access, AutoPay, Rate Reduction Rewards and customer service. There is no application, rate quote, refinance offer or dealer section anywhere on it. The domain of 888 Drop My Rate, one of the names Prestige says it operates under, now forwards visitors straight to that customer site, and so does gopfs.com, the domain its privacy contact uses.

The clearest statement is second-hand. On 20 November 2025 CDG News, a newsletter for car dealers, published what it called an email Prestige had sent to dealerships. In it Prestige says it has decided to “stop new originations and will transition into a servicing-only business,” that it would not accept credit applications from Thursday 20 November 2025, and that it would fund contracts already in house or in transit until the end of that month. The email also tells dealers that Prestige’s commitment to existing customers is unchanged. Prestige has posted no such notice on its own site, and we found no press release; Auto Finance News, which also reported it, blocks automated readers.

Public records fit the email without proving it. Prestige’s Texas motor vehicle sales finance licence, number 43500, was still listed as Active on 25 October 2026; the OCCC says such a licence may be needed by anyone who holds or assigns retail installment contracts, as a lender collecting its existing loans still does. In July 2026 Prestige filed papers with the SEC for a new securitization, Prestige Auto Receivables Trust 2026-1, whose data file held 2,435 contracts the accountants call “Prefunding Receivables” and 2,995 “Current Receivables” as of 30 April 2026. The report does not say when those contracts were written. It is the smallest of the ten data files we read, at 55.6% of the 2025-1 file by our arithmetic.

For a borrower the answer is the same either way: nothing in any document we read changes the rate, payment or term of an existing Prestige contract, and every page of the customer site is built around paying and managing an account you already have.

## Who Prestige is, and the Larry H. Miller link

Prestige Financial Services, Inc. is a Utah corporation. Its record with GLEIF, the global register of legal entity identifiers, gives a formation date of 13 September 1994, the Utah registration number 1189426-0142, a status of ACTIVE, a legal address in Salt Lake City and headquarters in Draper. GLEIF marks the record “fully corroborated.” Prestige’s own pages give a Draper address, while EDGAR still lists a Salt Lake City business address.

The Larry H. Miller connection is in Prestige’s own words. Its Privacy Notice defines affiliates as companies related by common ownership or control and says: “Our affiliates include the Larry H. Miller group of companies.” A Larry H. Miller Group release dated 5 October 2020, naming Rich Hyde as Prestige’s president, describes Prestige as part of the group’s portfolio and says it was founded in 1994, served dealerships “in more than 40 states” and employed about 600 people. We found no later figures. GLEIF lists no accounting parent for Prestige (it records the exception “NON_CONSOLIDATING”), and no document we read names its shareholders.

Prestige uses several names. Its Privacy Notice says it operates “also as Prestige Finance, 888 Drop My Rate, Prestige Auto, and Rally Motor Credit.” Its Site Terms say its marks, including Prestige Financial, LoanZone and The Loan Zone (“under which name Prestige Financial conducts business in certain states”), are trademarks of Landcar Management, Ltd. A title or credit report may show any of these. Unrelated businesses also use the word Prestige, and prestigefinancial.com is not this lender’s site (its Terms name MyPrestige.com). Check that your contract names Prestige Financial Services, Inc. of Utah.

## Where your loan sits: ten securitizations since 2019

For years Prestige has funded itself by bundling its contracts into trusts and selling notes backed by them to investors. These deals are private, so there is no prospectus on EDGAR, but each one leaves a trace: a Form ABS-15G with an accountants’ report on the “data file” of contracts meant for the pool. KPMG wrote every report we read. Each counts the retail installment contracts “secured by new and used automobiles, vans, and light duty trucks” in the file on a cut-off date. A data file is not always the final pool, so read these as the scale of each deal.

**Contracts in the data file of each Prestige Auto Receivables Trust, from KPMG’s reports filed with the SEC (read 25 October 2026)**

| Trust series | Form ABS-15G filed | Data file as of | Contracts |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 2019-1 | 9 July 2019 | 30 June 2019 | 16,491 |
| 2020-1 | 5 October 2020 | 31 August 2020 | 17,841 |
| 2021-1 | 27 October 2021 | 30 September 2021 | 11,493 |
| 2022-1 | 4 October 2022 | 31 August 2022 | 18,020 |
| 2023-1 | 21 April 2023 | 31 March 2023 | 15,854 |
| 2023-2 | 20 October 2023 | 30 September 2023 | 10,717 |
| 2024-1 | 8 March 2024 | 29 February 2024 | 10,080 |
| 2024-2 | 29 August 2024 | 31 July 2024 | 7,741 (an earlier file held 6,327) |
| 2025-1 | 28 March 2025 | 28 February 2025 | 9,758 |
| 2026-1 | 2 July 2026 | 30 April 2026 | 5,430 (2,435 Prefunding and 2,995 Current) |

The 2026-1 file is 30.1% the size of the largest, 2022-1, by our arithmetic. KPMG sampled 50 of its contracts (10 Prefunding and 40 Current) and found the checked details, from the amount financed and the interest rate to the vehicle identification number, “in agreement without exception.” Prestige told KPMG that three of the 50 were “Direct Lending Contracts”; the report does not define the term and says to treat all of them as loans on used vehicles. The report checks each sampled contract’s current rate against “the Company’s servicing system,” and its notes say what it does not cover, including whether the loans met underwriting standards or complied with lending law.

The other filings are repurchase reports. Under the SEC’s Rule 15Ga-1, a securitizer reports demands that it buy back loans that broke the deal’s promises. Prestige has filed 15 of these since 2012, covering 31 December 2008 to 31 December 2025, and every one has the box “no activity to report” checked. The latest, filed on 11 February 2026, lists eight outstanding trusts, from Series 2020-1 to 2025-1. That says nothing about how the loans performed.

What this means for you is narrow. None of the documents we read tells a borrower whose contract went into a trust to pay anyone other than Prestige, and Prestige’s site is where its borrowers pay. Nothing in the filings changes a contract’s rate, payment or due date. Our [refinancing guide](https://baronauto1.com/financing/refinance-a-car-loan/#servicer) explains why the company collecting your payments may not be the one that approved the loan.

## Paying Prestige: what the site offers, and what it does not print

The customer site offers three ways in. Sign In opens the account portal. Make a Payment opens QuickPay, which asks only for your account number and the primary borrower’s last name. AutoPay is promoted on the home page with the line “Make every payment on time, zero effort needed.” We used none of them. No page we read prints a fee for any payment method, a late charge, a grace period or a mailing address for payments. The Prestige addresses on the site are its Draper office and a Salt Lake City box for credit-report disputes. Your contract and your monthly statement are where the payment address and any late charge will be.

The site’s hours do not agree with each other. The contact panel on every page says “Hours 8am - 5pm MST Monday - Friday.” The Michigan Disclosures page says customers may pay “24/7 through the online customer portal or by phone Mon-Fri 7 AM-6 PM, Sat 8 AM-12 PM MST,” and warns that payments made after 5pm MST on weekdays, or on Saturdays, “may not be processed until the following business day.” If a payment is due on a Friday, make it before 5pm Mountain time and keep the confirmation.

Prestige will contact you in several ways. Its SMS terms, last updated on 2 October 2025, say: “You will receive texts, manual phone calls, pre-recorded voice messages, and automatic dialing equipment while servicing your account.” You can stop the texts by replying STOP to the short code, and standard message and data rates may apply.

## Rate Reduction Rewards: how the 14% floor works

Rate Reduction Rewards is the one programme Prestige’s site describes in detail, and it applies only to some borrowers. “All customers with a contract rate above 14% (Annual Percentage Rate) are eligible,” Prestige says, if they enroll and meet the requirements; anyone at 14% or below does not qualify. The rate then drops “every three consecutive months that you make payments on time,” and stops at 14%. The page calls the cuts a “.25% Reduction” or, with AutoPay, a “.5% Reduction”; we read these as percentage points off the APR. The monthly payment does not change, so each cut sends more of the same payment to the balance and the loan is paid off sooner. Prestige adds: “Individual amortizations and savings will vary depending on terms and length of the contract.”

**What each Rate Reduction Rewards tier requires, from Prestige’s Rate Reduction Rewards page (read 25 October 2026)**

| Requirement | 0.25 points off every 3 months | 0.5 points off every 3 months |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Make payments on time each month | Required | Required |
| Have qualifying vehicle insurance | Required | Required |
| Verify your email, phone number and address every 6 months | Required | Required |
| Opt in to electronic communication | Required | Required |
| Opt in to paperless | Required | Required |
| Set up AutoPay | Not required | Required |

The page prints no example, so here is ours, on hypothetical figures rather than Prestige’s. From a 20% contract rate, reaching the 14% floor takes 24 cuts and 72 months of on-time payments in the 0.25 tier, or 12 cuts and 36 months with AutoPay. From 18% it takes 48 or 24 months. On a $15,000 balance at 20% over 60 months, the payment is $397.41 and the interest comes to $8,844.42 if the rate never moves. Keeping the same payment while the rate falls, the loan is paid off in 58 months with $7,755.37 of interest in the lower tier, a saving of $1,089.05, or in 56 months with $6,907.11 of interest in the AutoPay tier, a saving of $1,937.31. That is our arithmetic, charging a twelfth of the annual rate each month; your contract’s own interest method will give different figures.

Prestige says it “is not obligated to offer Rate Reduction Rewards” and may change or end the programme “at any time without notice.” You must confirm your contact details every 6 months, and returned mail can take you out of the programme until they are updated. Most important, a charge-off undoes everything: “If a customer’s account charges off, the rate will change back to the original contract rate,” and Prestige reserves the right to collect charged-off accounts “at the full contract rate.”

**The reductions are not locked in.** Prestige can end Rate Reduction Rewards without notice, and if your account is ever charged off, the rate returns to the original contract rate. Keep your monthly statements so you can show the rate in force each quarter, and ask Prestige in writing to confirm your current rate if a statement does not show it.

**Figure: Annotated photograph**

Three numbered callouts over the photograph mark the agreement on the left, the papers on the right and the handshake, each with one fact from Prestige Financial’s Rate Reduction Rewards page, KPMG’s 2026-1 report and a dealer email reprinted by CDG News.

Prestige Financial’s Rate Reduction Rewards page, KPMG’s 2026-1 report and a dealer email reprinted by CDG News, read on 25 October 2026: Rates above 14% can drop 0.5 points every three on-time months with AutoPay (callout 1); At payoff, the title may name Prestige in any of the 29 spellings KPMG lists (callout 2); A dealer email said Prestige stopped taking applications on 20 November 2025 (callout 3). The photograph is illustrative.

## Paying off the loan and getting your title

Prestige’s public pages say nothing about payoff quotes, how long a lien release takes or how a title is returned. Ask Prestige for a written payoff figure that is good through a stated date, pay by a traceable method, and keep the confirmation. Our guide to [checking for a lien](https://baronauto1.com/vehicle-history/how-to-check-for-a-lien-on-a-car/#payoff) explains what a payoff letter should show and why it must be recent, and our [refinancing guide](https://baronauto1.com/financing/refinance-a-car-loan/) covers paying a loan off with a new lender.

One detail from the securitization files helps when the title arrives. KPMG’s 2026-1 report lists 29 names that Prestige told it may appear on a title “as the Lien Holder, Owner, Security Interest Holder, or Secured Party,” and for every sampled contract it found one of them on the title document. The list includes the full name, short forms such as PRESTIGE FINANCIAL SVCS, misspellings such as PRESITGE FINANCIAL SERVICES IN, and PRESTIGE AUTO FINANCE CORP, a name Prestige does not list among its trade names. So a title that shows Prestige under an odd spelling is not by itself a sign of a problem; if the name on the title and the name on the lien release differ, ask Prestige to confirm in writing that both are its own.

Among the 247 CFPB complaints about a Prestige vehicle loan or lease, 6 are about getting the title or another problem after payoff and 4 about paying off the loan.

## Falling behind: what Prestige prints, and what complaints describe

Prestige publishes no extension, deferral or hardship policy and no repossession policy. The home page says only “Get support from our dedicated customer service team,” and the Rate Reduction Rewards page shows the one consequence it does print: a charged-off account loses its reduced rate and may be collected at the full contract rate. Everything else, including any late charge, any right to cure a default and any arbitration clause, is in your retail installment contract, which Prestige does not publish and we could not read.

Of the 247 complaints filed under Prestige’s name about a vehicle loan or lease, 81 fall under “struggling to pay your loan.” Within those, 30 concern a balance left after the car was repossessed and sold, 26 a denied request to lower payments and 20 a lender trying to repossess or disable the vehicle. A further 77 complaints from the years before the CFPB’s current product labels sit under “problems when you are unable to pay.” Among the 130 debt-collection complaints, 40 say the debt was not owed and 35 are about communication tactics, 24 of them frequent or repeated calls. These are unverified reports about a lender that wrote tens of thousands of loans.

If you are behind, the steps that protect you do not depend on what Prestige publishes. Ask for any payment arrangement or due-date change in writing before you rely on it. If the car is repossessed, our guide to [repossession notices](https://baronauto1.com/financing/car-repossession/#notice) explains the letter that comes before a sale, [getting the car back](https://baronauto1.com/financing/car-repossession/#getting-it-back) covers redemption, and [the sale and the bill after it](https://baronauto1.com/financing/car-repossession/#the-sale) explains how a deficiency balance is worked out. If you bought GAP coverage, our [GAP guide](https://baronauto1.com/financing/gap-insurance/#how-it-works) explains what it pays after a total loss.

**Keep everything in writing.** Prestige’s SMS terms say it may reach you by text, live calls, pre-recorded messages and automatic dialing. A promise made on a call is hard to prove later. Ask for an email or letter confirming any extension, payment plan or payoff figure, and keep it with your contract.

## Credit reports, privacy and the website terms

The Site Terms include a section titled “Credit Reporting Direct Disputes.” To dispute what Prestige reports to the credit bureaus, write to the Salt Lake City address it prints and include six things: your full name, mailing address, account number, Social Security number, date of birth, and “a detailed description of your dispute and how you would like it resolved,” with documents such as a copy of the credit report showing the error. Because the letter carries your Social Security number, send it by a tracked method and keep a copy. Credit reporting accounts for 294 of the 831 complaints under Prestige’s name, or 35.4%, including 88 about inquiries people did not recognize.

The Privacy Notice, last updated on 1 April 2024, sets out its sharing in a table. Prestige says it shares personal information for all seven purposes the form lists, from everyday business and its own marketing to its affiliates’ and other companies’ marketing. You can limit 3 of the 7: affiliates’ use of information about your creditworthiness, affiliates marketing to you, and non-affiliates marketing to you. Prestige may begin sharing a new customer’s information 30 days after it sends the notice, and it keeps sharing after you stop being a customer unless you limit it. Its non-affiliates “can include auto dealerships, service providers, and data processors.” The opt-out address the notice prints now forwards to an online privacy form; a choice you make applies to everyone on a joint account. The notice adds that Prestige will not share California residents’ information outside Prestige, or Vermont residents’ outside its corporate family, unless the law allows.

**How Prestige says it shares your information, from its Privacy Notice (last updated 1 April 2024, read 25 October 2026)**

| Reason for sharing | Does Prestige share? | Can you limit it? |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Everyday business (processing, account upkeep, court orders, credit bureaus) | Yes | No |
| Prestige’s own marketing | Yes | No |
| Joint marketing with other financial companies | Yes | No |
| Affiliates’ everyday business: your transactions and experiences | Yes | No |
| Affiliates’ everyday business: your creditworthiness | Yes | Yes |
| Affiliates marketing to you | Yes | Yes |
| Non-affiliates marketing to you | Yes | Yes |

The separate Privacy and Data Policy, last updated on 1 October 2025, is written mostly for California’s privacy law. It lists 9 categories of personal information Prestige collected in the previous 12 months, including geolocation data and “inferences drawn from other personal information.” It says Prestige has not “sold” personal information under the California law in the past 12 months and aims to answer a verified request within 45 days, or up to 90 with notice.

The Site Terms, effective 5 December 2023, govern the website rather than your loan. They apply Utah law and Utah courts to “all matters relating to This Site,” describe the site as “a forum and technical interface that permits users to access credit-related services,” and let Prestige revise them by updating the page. They also prohibit “linking to” the site’s content without permission, which is why this page names Prestige’s documents without linking to them.

## Licences, regulators and the public record

Prestige’s footer gives its national licensing number as “NMLS (ID 1086170),” but the link goes to a bot check on NMLS Consumer Access, and that site blocked our requests, so we could not read its state-by-state licence list. Two state licences are named on Prestige’s own pages. Its Michigan Disclosures page says accounts financed under “License No. RL 0020714 effective 01/01/17” are regulated by the Office of Consumer Finance of Michigan’s Department of Insurance and Financial Services (Michigan’s own lookup showed a bot check). Its Privacy Notice tells Texas borrowers that “the lender is licensed and examined under Texas law by the Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner (OCCC),” and that they may take an unresolved complaint to the OCCC.

The OCCC’s public licensee search does confirm the Texas side. Searching on 25 October 2026 returned the records below.

**Texas OCCC licence records for Prestige’s names, from the OCCC’s public licensee search (read 25 October 2026)**

| Licence | Type | Holder and business name | Status |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 43500 | Motor Vehicle Sales Finance | Prestige Financial Services, Inc., Draper, Utah | Active |
| 48951 | Regulated Lender | Prestige Financial Services, Inc., doing business as 888DROPMYRATE, Draper, Utah | Transitioned to NMLS |
| 66207 | Motor Vehicle Sales Finance | Courtesy Finance, Inc., doing business as Rally Motor Credit, at Prestige’s Draper address | Surrendered |

The last row is a loose end in Prestige’s own documents. Its Privacy Notice says Prestige itself operates as Rally Motor Credit, but the Texas licence in that name was held by Courtesy Finance, Inc. at the same Draper street address, and rallymotorcredit.com now forwards to an address that does not resolve. No document we read explains how the two companies relate. A search for “Rally Motor” also returned a cancelled licence of Rally Motors 2, LLC of McAllen, Texas, which nothing connects to Prestige.

We found no enforcement action against Prestige. The CFPB’s enforcement list returns nothing for “prestige” or “courtesy finance” (the same search for “credit acceptance” returns that lender’s case, so the search works). The OCCC’s spreadsheet of enforcement actions closed between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2026 has no entry under Prestige, Courtesy Finance, 888 Drop My Rate or Rally Motor. Prestige’s SEC filings are repurchase and accountants’ reports, which do not cover legal proceedings at all.

Court records were out of reach. CourtListener’s robots rules bar automated readers from its case pages, and we do not use paid court systems, so we read no complaint, docket or judgment naming Prestige, and this page describes no lawsuit. Missouri’s and Indiana’s licence lookups and the BBB also blocked automated reading.

## CFPB complaints: 831 under Prestige’s name, and the group file

The CFPB’s public complaint database files Prestige under one name, “PRESTIGE FINANCIAL SERVICES INC.” Searches for Prestige, 888 Drop My Rate and Rally Motor Credit return no other spelling. That name holds 831 complaints, received from 25 March 2013 to 8 December 2023, and none after that. Complaints are unverified reports, and their number grows with a lender’s size, so they show what people complain about, not how likely a problem is. The CFPB stopped publishing complaint narratives on 30 September 2026, so only counts are used here.

Under Prestige’s name, vehicle loans and leases account for 394 complaints, or 47.4% (247 under the current label and 147 under the older “Consumer Loan” label), credit reporting for 294 (35.4%) and debt collection for 130 (15.6%). The most common vehicle-loan issue is managing the loan, including 58 billing problems. Prestige closed 51 complaints, 6.1%, with monetary or non-monetary relief, and the CFPB marks 98.9% as answered on time. Consumers tagged 114 complaints, 13.7%, as coming from servicemembers. The most complaints came from Texas (104), Illinois (101) and Georgia (69).

The sudden stop in December 2023 has a likely explanation in the database itself, though the CFPB does not state it. A second name, “Larry H. Miller Group of Companies,” holds 863 complaints from 26 April 2016 to 21 October 2026: 60 up to the end of 2023, then 803 from 2024 on. They are mostly credit reporting (416, or 48.2%), vehicle loans and leases (292, or 33.8%, including 86 about repossession) and debt collection (141). The pattern fits complaints about Prestige being filed under the group’s name from late 2023, but the CFPB does not say which business in the group each complaint concerns, so we keep the two files separate and never add them together.

**CFPB complaints by year received under each company name (pulled 25 October 2026; 2026 runs to 24 October)**

| Year | PRESTIGE FINANCIAL SERVICES INC | Larry H. Miller Group of Companies |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 2013 | 24 | 0 |
| 2014 | 40 | 0 |
| 2015 | 50 | 0 |
| 2016 | 53 | 4 |
| 2017 | 111 | 12 |
| 2018 | 90 | 15 |
| 2019 | 91 | 13 |
| 2020 | 72 | 1 |
| 2021 | 82 | 2 |
| 2022 | 84 | 0 |
| 2023 | 134 | 13 |
| 2024 | 0 | 195 |
| 2025 | 0 | 356 |

Texas borrowers can also take a complaint to the OCCC, as Prestige’s own notice says. Our [Credit Acceptance](https://baronauto1.com/financing/credit-acceptance-review/#complaints), [Westlake Financial](https://baronauto1.com/financing/westlake-financial-review/#complaints) and [Exeter Finance](https://baronauto1.com/financing/exeter-finance-review/) reviews read other subprime lenders’ complaint files the same way, and our [Chrysler Capital review](https://baronauto1.com/financing/chrysler-capital-review/) covers another brand whose existing loans carried on after new lending stopped.

## If your car loan is with Prestige

- **Keep paying as your contract says.** The end of new lending does not change an existing contract’s rate, payment or due date.
- **Pay through Prestige’s own site,** typed in yourself, and keep each confirmation; on weekdays, pay before 5pm Mountain time.
- **Check whether you qualify for Rate Reduction Rewards** if your contract rate is above 14%, and set up AutoPay if you want the 0.5-point tier.
- **Confirm your email, phone and address every 6 months** if you are enrolled, and keep statements that show each new rate.
- **Get every arrangement in writing:** extensions, payment plans, due-date changes and payoff figures.
- **Dispute credit-report errors in writing** with the six items Prestige’s Terms list, sent by a tracked method.
- **Use the privacy opt-out** if you do not want affiliates or other companies marketing to you; it covers everyone on a joint account.
- **At payoff, check the title and lien release** against the name Prestige used, and ask for written confirmation if they differ.

## Common questions

### Is Prestige Financial still in business?

Yes, as a servicer of its existing loans. Its customer site is live, its Texas sales finance licence was Active on 25 October 2026, and it filed a new securitization with the SEC in July 2026. A dealer email reprinted by CDG News says it stopped taking credit applications on 20 November 2025, and its site no longer offers any way to apply.

### Who owns Prestige Financial?

Prestige’s Privacy Notice says its affiliates include the Larry H. Miller group of companies, and a 2020 Larry H. Miller Group release describes Prestige as part of the group’s portfolio. No document we read names its shareholders, and GLEIF records no consolidating parent.

### How do I pay my Prestige Financial loan?

Through Prestige’s customer site: sign in to your account, use QuickPay with your account number and last name, or set up AutoPay. Its Michigan page says payments are also taken by phone on weekdays and Saturday mornings, Mountain time. Prestige prints no payment fees, so check your contract and statement before using a card or phone payment.

### Can I refinance a Prestige Financial loan?

Prestige’s site offers no refinancing, and the 888dropmyrate.com domain now forwards to its customer site, but nothing we read stops you from paying the loan off with another lender. Get a written payoff figure first, then compare offers with our guides to [refinancing a car loan](https://baronauto1.com/financing/refinance-a-car-loan/), [credit union auto rates](https://baronauto1.com/financing/credit-union-used-car-loan-rates/) and [credit scores and car loans](https://baronauto1.com/financing/credit-score-to-buy-a-car/).

### How does Prestige’s Rate Reduction Rewards work?

If your contract rate is above 14% APR and you enroll, Prestige cuts the rate by 0.25 points for every three months of on-time payments, or 0.5 points if you also use AutoPay, until it reaches 14%. The payment stays the same. Prestige can end the programme without notice, and a charge-off restores the original rate.

### What name will be on my title?

Usually Prestige Financial Services, Inc., but KPMG’s 2026-1 report lists 29 versions Prestige accepts as lienholder, from PRESTIGE FINANCIAL SVCS to PRESTIGE AUTO FINANCE CORP and misspellings. When the loan is paid, check that the lien release matches the title, and ask Prestige to confirm in writing if the names differ.
